Julie Richoz
Julie Richoz is a Franco-Swiss designer born in 1990. The young artist trained with the designer Pierre Charpin and then opened her own studio in Paris, which allowed her to follow her own collaborations with, among others: the Cirva in Marseille, the International Research Centre for Glass and Plastic Arts, the Manufacture de Sèvres and the Manufacture Cogolin. Julie Richoz offers a contemporary vision of craftsmanship. She explores materials such as porcelain, glass, natural fibres, metal threads to give life to contemporary volumes while respecting traditional know-how. Julie is one of the greatest and collaborates with partners such as: Alessi, Artecnica, Louis Poulsen and Louis Vuitton. In 2015, she received the Swiss Design Award, the most important national design competition organized every year by the Federal Office of Culture (OFC) since 1918.
